Monilethrix

Monilethrix (spindle hair ) is an autosomal dominant disease that leads to an irregular brittle hair structure. Cause are point mutations in the two Keratingenen Hb1 and HB6 on chromosome 12

When abnormality occurs short thin lackluster and constricted at intervals hairs that break off a few millimeters above the scalp. This occurs mainly at the back.
