Mononegavirales

The order Mononegavirales is a taxon of viruses that includes after the official Virus taxonomy following families:

  • Family Bornaviridae
  • Family Filoviridae
  • Family Paramyxoviridae
  • Family Rhabdoviridae

All members of this order have a single-stranded (mono) RNA genome in negative -strand orientation ( - negative ), which is not segmented.
