Monotonix

Monotonix is the name of a rock band founded in 2005 in Tel Aviv in Israel. Their style of music based on rock music of the 1970s and hard crossover sound of the 1990s.

In the years 2006 and 2007 Monotonix played in North America and Europe over 300 concerts, including at South by Southwest. In 2008 she published on the label Drag City EP Body Language. After release of the album the drummer Ran Shimoni left the band and was replaced by Haggai Fershtman. Monotonix were thus known that their concerts usually come up with daring actions and often escalate into wild parties, which resulted in her hometown event to resolutions by the police and appearance prohibitions.
