Mont Panié

The Mont Panié is at an altitude of 1,629 meters ( 1,628 meters also ) is the highest mountain in New Caledonia. It is located in the mountains of the Massif du Panié.

The higher parts of the mountain are since 1950 a nature reserve ( Réserve Spéciale botanique du Mont Panié ).
