Monte Disgrazia

The Monte Disgrazia is the main peak of the valley's Alps and one of the most impressive mountains of the eastern Alps at all.

It measures 3,678 feet and stands apart from the main ridge of the valley's Alps between two side valleys of Valtellina, Val Malenco the east and the Val Masino in the west, so completely on Italian soil ( province of Sondrio). It forms a 600 -meter-long multimodal wall that runs in a north -west - south-easterly direction. Looking down from the northwest or southeast, it appears as a sharp, elegant horn.
