Monte Makaya

Monte Makaya in Terra Encantada (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a steel roller coaster from the model looping coaster manufacturer Intamin with the serial number T -335, which was opened on 16 January 1998. Dragon Khan held until the opening of Monte Makaya alone the record for the most inversions. Both pathways, however, are from different manufacturers and have different layouts. Identical systems to Monte Makaya are Avalancha in Xetulul and Flight of the Phoenix in Terra Encantada.

The 800 m long railway, for which they needed a top speed of 80 km / h around 1:45, reaches a height of 37 m and has eight inversions: a loop, a two inversions cobra roll, a double corkscrew, and a triple Heartline roll.

Monte Makaya has a train with seven cars. In each car four people can (two rows of two people) take place. Originally the train had two trains, but one train was destroyed in a fire at the station in 2004.
