The Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts ( Serbo-Croatian Crnogorska akademija nauka i umjetnosti ( CANU ) English Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts ( MASA ) ) is a public academy in Montenegro.

The Academy was established by decision of the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro on 10 June 1973 as the Academy of Sciences and Arts in Montenegro; In 1976 she received the present name Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts. It is the highest state institution of Sciences and Arts in Montenegro.

In the three academy classes natural sciences, social sciences and arts 42 scientific members and 28 foreign members are currently employed. In 24 projects the academy more than 350 researchers are involved. Since 2002, Momir Djurovic President of the Academy.
