Montigny-en-Gohelle
Montigny -en- Gohelle is a commune and the chief town of a canton in the Pas -de- Calais, in the Nord -Pas -de -Calais.
The town with 10,335 inhabitants ( 1 January 2011) is part of the Communauté d' agglomà d' Henin- Carvin, which consists of 14 municipalities with a total of 125,000 inhabitants. Neighboring municipalities are Sallaumines in the west, in the north Harnes, Henin -Beaumont in the east and Billy - Montigny in the south.

Mayor since January 2010 Bruno yard. He succeeded Jean -Claude Lecamus ( March 2006-January 2010 ).
