Arrondissement of Lens
The Lens Arrondissement is an administrative unit of the French Department Pas -de- Calais in the Nord- Pas -de -Calais. Headquarters ( sub-prefecture ) is Lens.
With effect from 1 January 2007, the cantons and Avion Rouvroy changed in the course of administrative reform from Arras arrondissement to arrondissement Lens.
The district consists of 17 cantons and 43 municipalities.
