Monty Banks
Monty Banks, actually Mario Bianchi ( born July 18, 1897 in Cesena, Italy, † January 7, 1950 in Arona, Italy ) was a comedian, actor and film director.
Life
1940 Banks married British actress and singer Gracie Fields. Since Italy was war opponents of the British, the two wandered to North America. Banks was later also U.S. citizens. He died at the age of 52 of a heart attack.
His last film in which he directed, was 1941 Laurel and Hardy - horrors of the Company ( Great Guns ).
