Moosberg

The Moosberg is a 513.0 m high mountain in the Solling, which is located in the southwestern Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

Geography

The mountain is located in the " Hochsolling ", the central and at the same time the highest part of the Solling, which is surrounded by the Solling -Vogler. Inside is the heavily forested mountain just south of the half straight line between Boffzen and Dassel, around 1.5 kilometers east of Neuhaus.

From topographic maps three different heights above sea level are shown on the Moosberg for example by trigonometric points: 513.0 m (north), 508.7 m (middle) and 508.6 m (south).

On the western slope of the mountain moss is the observation tower Hochsolling.
