Mordehai Dubin

Mordechai Dubin (Hebrew מרדכי דובין; * January 1, 1889 in Riga, † 1956 in Tula, Soviet Union) was a Jewish politician in Latvia. There, in the Parliament Saeima he represented from 1922 to 1934, the Agudath Israel Group under his chairmanship. He was head of the Jewish community until 1940. From the Soviet government in 1941, he was deported to Siberia, where he died.
