More danico

Their official turning to Christianity did not prevent them to have, as before in Scandinavia several women simultaneously. In contrast to the Christians and the church, which looked at a Frilla as a concubine and their children as bastards, the Normans saw the offspring of a marriage more danico as legitimate: two of her dukes, Richard II and William II, who later conquerors England, come from such a relationship.

This tradition seems to have been completed by William II.
