Moritz Borman

Moritz Borman ( born 1955 ) is a German film producer.

Life

Moritz Borman was managing director of the Munich-based IM International Media AG, one of the then world's largest independent film production company. To Borman's productions include, inter alia, Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines (2003), The Life of David Gale (2003) and also K-19 - Showdown in the depth ( 2002). He worked several times with director Oliver Stone.

Borman began his career in 1970 as a producer and director for German television. 1977 Borman moved to Los Angeles, where he also shot commercials while studying at the American Film Institute. He was awarded the Bavarian Film Award for the film Georg Elser 1989 - One award from Germany.

Since 1997 he has been co-chairman of the subsidiaries Pacifica and Intermedia, LA, since 2000 Deputy Chairman of the IM International Media, Inc., since March 2002 and Chief Executive Officer of IM AG and CEO of Pacifica and Intermedia.
