Moritz Wilhelm August Breidenbach

Moritz Wilhelm August Breidenbach ( born November 13, 1796 in Offenbach am Main, † April 2, 1857 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian officer and former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse.

Family

Moritz Breidenbach was the son of a prince ysenburgischen court and chamber Council Wolf Breidenbach (* 1750 in Breidenbach, † February 28, 1829 in Offenbach) born and his wife Merle Marianne Jeanette Frankfurt ( 1768-1829 ). His brother Julius Eduard Wilhelm Breidenbach was raised on 1 November 1837 in the peerage. Moritz Breidenbach married Josephine Julia was born Neustetel ( born March 28, 1797 in Offenbach). Of his children was Theodor Breidenbach (1822-1851) Hofgerichtsassessor in Darmstadt and Otto Breidenbach (1826-1889) lawyer in Darmstadt.

Moritz Breidenbach was a Jew. On June 25, 1829, he was baptized as a Protestant in Bessungen.

Education and work

After studying law, he. Awarded the degree of Dr. jur graduated, he was in 1819 government and Hofgerichtssekretariatsakzessist in Darmstadt and in 1836 Ministerial. In 1848 he retired and in 1849 was appointed headmaster.

Policy

In the 14th legislature ( 1851-1856 ) Moritz Breidenbach was a member of the second chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the Estates, he represented the constituency Starkenburgring 1/Darmstadt.
