Mormo

Mormons (Greek Μορμώ, Μορμών, also Mormolyke or Mormolykia ) is in the Greek mythology a female ghost that has similarities with the Lamia and Gello. This demonic figure was threatened young children; Mormons want to see how the Lamia have adjusted children and devoured them. The aition why Mormons acted in such malicious behavior is akin to that of Lamia. Thus Mormon was supposedly originally the queen of Laestrygonians, one mentioned by Homer and Ovid people of giants and cannibals, who, angered by the death of their children, was now pursuing other children. Allusions to this specter are not very frequent; First they found the Greek playwright Aristophanes and the Greek historian Xenophon.
