History

For the recording of the album, the band rented a house called Stern House in Malibu (California ), near the street Morning View Drive, which the album title came about. The recording sessions took from April to May in 2001 with producer Scott Litt instead. Morning View was the last album with bassist Alex Katunich ( Dirk Lance called himself ). Compared to Make Yourself are much more quieter pieces on the album. The album reached number 2 in the U.S., Canada, # 3 on the charts. In Germany, the album went to # 27
