Morten Veland

Morten Veland (born 4 December 1977) is a Norwegian musician. He was in 1996 one of the founding members of Tristania and took over guitar and vocals as well as significant shares in the writing of lyrics and music. After his retirement he founded in 2001 the group Sirenia, with whom he continued his previous musical line. For studio productions he plays a most instruments and the male vocal itself.

Mortemia

2009 founded Veland the solo project Mortemia, the musical continues the line of Tristania ( up to the second album ) and Sirenia, but without female vocals. On 6 July 2009 Veland signed a deal with Napalm Records. The debut album Misere Mortem was published on 2 March 2010.
