Mother Svea

The Mother Svea (Swedish Moder Svea ) refers to the Swedish Nationalallegorie in the form of a woman.

She is usually depicted as a defensive Virgin, often flanked by one or two lions. She is considered the personification of the " Svea Empire " and thus Sweden.
