Motor City Open 2013

Ong Beng Hee was defending champion, who retired in the quarterfinals against the top-seeded Mohamed El Shorbagy. In purely Egyptian Amr Shabana final benefited from the injury-related task of his opponent Karim Darwish in the second set. The first Shabana had decided to 11:4 for themselves. It was the first title for Amr Shabana at the Motor City Open.
