Mott Prize

The Mott Medal of the Institute of Physics is a prize for outstanding research achievements in Solid State Physics ( Condensed Matter Physics ) and material sciences. It is endowed with 1,000 pounds and connected to a silver medal. It was donated in 1997 and is named after Nevill Mott.
