Mount Albert (Quebec)

The Mont Albert is a mountain in the Monts Chic - Chocs, a mountain chain that is associated with the Appalachians, in the southeast of the Canadian province of Quebec.

The mountain is located in the north of the Gaspé Peninsula in the MRC La Haute- Gaspésie some 30 km south-southeast of the town of Sainte -Anne -des- Monts. With a height of 1151 m, it is one of the highest mountains in the south of Quebec City. The mountain is located in the western part of the Parc national de la Gaspésie. A 13- km ² plateau crowned by Mont Albert. The lower north summit reaches a height of 1070 m.

The Mont Albert was named after Albert of Saxe- Coburg and Gotha.
