Mount Bazardüzü

The Bazardüzü Dagi (Russian Базардюзю, Basardjusju ) is with 4466 m the highest peak of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Dagestan in the Russian Federation. The mountain is located a few kilometers north of the main range of the Greater Caucasus. About the Summit is the line between Azerbaijan and Russia.

About seven kilometers southwest of the summit is the southernmost point of the Russian Federation.

The summit was first climbed in 1847 by the Russians A. Alexandrov on the northeast ridge.
