Mount Chephren with the Waterfowl Lake

Mount Chephren is lying in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies mountain, named due to its shape after the Pyramid of Chephren. The height is 3,307 m.

History

The first ascent was made in 1913 by J.W.A. Hickson, guided by Edward Feuz Jr.

The mountain was first by J. Norman Collie " Pyramid Mountain" called in 1897, but since there was already another peak with the same name in Jasper National Park, it was renamed in 1918 in "Mount Chephren ".
