The Cholomondas (Greek Χολομώντας ( m. sg ); alternative / ancient name. Ypsison; Holomontas English transcription ) is a rising up to 1,165 meters Greek mountains in the prefecture of Chalkidiki district of the region of Central Macedonia. His main ridge extends from south-southwest to the north- northeast in the central country of the Chalkidiki peninsula. He is the highest point in the Regional District Chalkidiki; its summit is located northeast of the capital of the prefecture Polygiros and southwest of the village Arnea. The heights of the Massif Cholomondas are almost entirely forested.
