Mount Forbes

The Mount Forbes is the eighth highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies. It is located 18 km south-west of the Saskatchewan River in Banff National Park. James Hector named him in 1859 by Edward Forbes.

1902 was the first ascent by J. Norman Collie, James Outram, Hugh EM Stutfield, George M. Weed, Herman Woolley with the mountain guide Christian Kaufmann.
