Mount Pleasant House

The Mount Pleasant House (also Perry Mansion) is a Grade I listed building in Los Angeles. Today, the house stands on the site of the Heritage Square Museum.

The two-story building was constructed in 1876 for the businessman William Perry Ezra F. Kysor by the architect in the Italianate style in Boyle Heights. For its time it was one of the most expensive private houses in Los Angeles. In 1975, the house was moved from its old location in the Mount Pleasant Street in five kilometers away, open-air museum at the Homer Street. There restored the Colonial Dames Society of America to the donation to the Museum Foundation 1995.

Since December 12, 1976, the house is on the list of entries in the National Register of Historic Places in Los Angeles and is thus under monument protection.
