Mount Rosenthal

Mount Rosenthal is a summit of Liberty Hills in West Antarctica. The approximately 1840 m high hill situated at the northern end of the ridge, about 5.5 km northwest of the Moulder Peak.

The mountain was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names after U.S. Navy officer Lieutenant Commander Ronald Rosenthal, who on the Ross Ice Shelf, died in a plane crash with the Douglas LC - 47J "Spirit of McMurdo " on 2 February 1966.
