Mount Wangwu

Wangwu Shan (王屋 山) is a mountain range about 40 km northwest of the city of Jiyuan to the north of Henan province. In it are famous Daoist sites, including the Wangwu Shan cave, one of the ten major Taoist grotto heaven. The mountain is part of the Wangwushan - Yuntaishan National Park.

According to tradition, should in ancient times the Yellow Emperor / Yellow ancestor ( Huangdi ) have received the Wangwu mountain climbed and there the book of elixirs ( Danjing ).
