Mourtala Diakité

Mourtala Diakité ( born October 1, 1980 in Bamako ) is a Malian football player and former national player. He currently plays for Belenenses in the Portuguese Super Liga.

Career

Club career

Diakité changed only at the age of 24 years to Europe. After two successful stations in Portugal at SC Beira -Mar and Boavista Porto, he joined in the summer of 2008 for a transfer fee of € 500,000 to Romania to Dinamo Bucharest. There, however, he came only to six inserts and returned early as the winter break again back to Portugal to Belenenses Lisbon.

Between 2001 and 2004 games Diakité 30 times for the Mali national team, scoring six goals.
