SC Beira-Mar

The SC Beira Mar is a Portuguese football club from Aveiro. Their home ground is called Estádio Municipal de Aveiro " Mario Duarte " was built as a venue for the 2004 European Football Championship. The club played from 2007 to 2010 in Liga de Honra and rose as First Place in the 2009/10 season in the first Portuguese soccer league.

Biggest club success was winning the Portuguese Cup in 1999.

On 23 February 2002, the SC Beira Mar FC Porto won at 3-2. Thus, the club has been able to teach as one of only three clubs a trained team of Jose Mourinho in a league game a home defeat. Until April 2, 2011, they were even the only team that could claim to be; on this day Real Madrid lost at home under Jose Mourinho against Gijon.
