Mr. Merlin is an American television series that aired in the years 1981/1982 on CBS. In Germany it was the first time 1983/1984 broadcast on ARD. Of the total of 22 episodes, only 20 were shown on German television.
Action
In the 25 - minute episodes it comes to Max Merlin, a gas station owner in San Francisco. His real identity is, however, Merlin from the Arthurian legends. When he is looking for a apprentice who helps both in the gas station as well as the spells he chooses Zachary Rogers. However, The Sorcerer's Apprentice uses his skills at the most inopportune time.
A striking feature of Mr. Merlin was the great white shining staircase leading from a door in the sky.
