The Renaissance was a 1966 built at Chantiers de l' Atlantique passenger ship.

History

The ship sailed for Paquet Line until 1977. Then it was sold to Epirotiki Line. As Homeric Renaissance it became the new flagship of the shipping company. 1978 chartered the ship to the shipping company Costa Cruises. Costa Crociere put the ship until the early 1980s as a World Renaissance. 1995 bought Awani Cruises the ship and set it down in 1996 as Awani Dream a. In 1998 the ship was sold to Royal Olympic Cruise Line. The ship was re- named World Renaissance. In 2004 it was launched and eventually sold for $ 3 million in Pelorus Maritime. The ship was renamed the Grand Victoria. Subsequently, it was chartered by the end of 2006 Metropolis Tur. In 2007 it was sold to Blue Moranch Shipping and renamed Blue Moranch. 2009, the ship was decommissioned because it could not meet the requirements of SOLAS 2010. The ship was launched and sold in February 2010 for $ 1.8 million according to Alang, India for demolition. For the transfer to India, it was renamed Maestro.
