MSV Neuruppin

The MSV Neuruppin ( Maerkischer sports club 1919 Neuruppin eV ) is a football club based in North Neuruppin Brandenburg. The club colors are blue and white.

History

The MSV Neuruppin was founded in the fall of 1919. After the end of World War II and during the communist era, the club underwent numerous name changes. He played as zsg Neuruppin, Northwest Neuruppin, middle Neuruppin, consumption Neuruppin, Empor Neuruppin and Electronic Neuruppin. After 1989 initially followed by a name change to TuS Neuruppin, before we again took the original founding name MSV Neuruppin.

On 27 June 2007 the MSV Neuruppin filed for bankruptcy.

On 19 March 2009, the former managing director of municipal utilities Neuruppin and MSV Vice President Dietmar Lenz with the accusation of having over spent more than 500,000 euros in the Board in support of the MSV Neuruppin, due to serious breach of trust and accepting an advantage to a prison sentence of two years sentenced to probation. The end of 2009 he died by suicide.

The association has about 1,000 members. In addition to the football department, there are other department: volleyball, table tennis, chess, disabled sports, athletics, boxing, billiards, hiking, swimming, gymnastics, gymnastics, youth soccer and recreational sports.

Sporty

The season 1990/91, the last before integration into the all-German match operation, TuS Neuruppin finished finished last of the newly formed division Brandenburg ( third highest in this Season Division ). With this second place and the simultaneous abandonment of the table first, the FC Hansa Rostock II, was allowed to participate for the promotion to the Regionalliga Nord MSV Neuruppin at the two relegation matches. Here, however, they lost to FC Carl Zeiss Jena 0:2 and 1:2.

In the same season, the MSV secured the Brandenburg Cup with a 2-1 final win against SV Babelsberg 03, which Neuruppin managed to qualify for the DFB Cup of the season 2005/ 06. In the first round of the DFB Cup on August 21, 2005 MSV Bayern Munich was drawn against. Because of the expected large audience interest in the first Cup participation of Neuruppiner the match at the Olympiastadion Berlin took place. Neuruppin lost the match before 33,200 spectators with 0:4 ( 0:1).

Coach of the Neuruppiner was until 5 April 2006, the former professional footballer Christian Schreier (331 Bundesliga games).

In the season 2005/ 06 Neuruppin took second place behind Regional returnees 1 FC Union Berlin. The 2006/07 season the team finished with the second to last place in the relay from the North. Although after successful Relegation ( to FC Carl Zeiss Jena II ) the possibility would have been to continue to play in the big leagues, the club moved his team back for financial reasons. The game operation in the Brandenburg League was the MSV withdrawn due to failure to timely notification message. Only after a judgment of the District Court of Cottbus MSV was awarded the right to start. However, since the insolvency proceedings was near the opening, the club took the game right only on paper, was standing in front of the point of the game is booting the first relegated and played as MSV Neuruppin II in the national league Brandenburg. Following the formal relegation of the team from the Brandenburg League of MSV played from 2007/ 08 with his first team in the national league Brandenburg. The ascent also missed the 2012/13 just as it was runner-up.

Stadium

Its home games denies the MSV in the public park stadium that can hold up to 5,300 spectators.
