Muharrem Ä°nce

Muharrem İnce ( born May 4, 1964 in Elmalık in Yalova ) is a Turkish teacher and politician. He is since 1999, Member of Parliament for Yalova in the Grand National Assembly and leader of the Republican People's Party (CHP).

Muharrem İnce was born as a twin child of Zekiye - Serif İnce in place Elmalık in Yalova and graduated in physics and chemistry at the Faculty of Necatibey Magisterium of the University of Balıkesir to the doctor. As a chemistry and physics teacher, he has taught at numerous high schools and cram schools ( Dershane ) throughout the country and became a school director. He was also spokesman for Yalovaspor and provincial chairman of Atatürkçü Düşünce Derneği ( ADD).

In the parliamentary elections of 2002 İnce was as MP for Yalova member of the Grand National Assembly within the CHP. At the 2007 elections, he was re-elected by an overwhelming majority. In the 2011 election he was again confirmed by a large majority in his office.

Ince is leader of the Republican People's Party. He is also Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Education, Culture, Youth and Sports. He is also a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries ( Türk Dili Konuşan Ülkeler parlamenter Asamblesi ) as the representative of Turkey.

Muharrem İnce is married and father of a child.
