Muhsin ErtuÄŸrul

Muhsin Ertuğrul ( born March 7, 1892 in Istanbul, † April 29, 1979 in Istanbul), also Ertuğrul Muhsin Bey or Ertugrul Moussin -Bey, was a Turkish actor and director.

Life

Ertuğrul was an important artist of both the Turkish theater and the Turkish film and is regarded as a central founding figure of the Turkish cinema. Initial work in the film in Berlin in the 1910s and 1920s. Here cooperation with Max Reinhardt as an assistant at the Volksbühne, in small roles actor among others.
