Mukhthar Naseer

Mukhthar Naseer ( born May 7, 1979 Thoddoo, Maldives ), nicknamed 2 kilos, is a Maldivian footballer. He plays in the position of striker.

From 2004 until 2008 he played for the Maldivian first division club Valencia, since 2009 for Victory SC.

As a player of the Maldives national team, he also participates in international competitions. 2008 in the 87th minute, he scored at the South Asian Federation Cup final against India in the only goal of the match, winning the title for the Maldives. In early 2009 he was appointed both by the daily newspaper Haveeru Daily and by the Maldivian Football Federation FAM Footballer of the Year 2008.
