Mummenschanz

Masquerade mask is a Swiss theater group, which became known in the United States, Switzerland, but also around the world mainly by an almost three year old playing time on Broadway in New York. Founded in 1972 by Andres Bossard ( August 9, 1944 * † March 15, 1992 ), Bernie Schürch ( born August 3, 1944) and Floriana Frassetto ( born December 9, 1950), there mummery today and is still characterized by its unique style that goes far beyond the traditional forms of pantomime. 2011 the ensemble was winning the Jury Prize of the Arosa Humor Festival, the Arosa Humor filler. Also went to the Swiss Award 2011 Culture of mummery. 2012 Mummers the Prix Walo in 2011 for the best stage production excellent .. early 2012 joined the Zurich dancer and choreographer Philipp Egli new to masquerade as a replacement for founding member Bernie Schürch, which with almost 68 years stepped down from the stage on June 17, 2012.
