The Munich (South Station South Station also ) is a former goods station and the local train station in Munich. History

With the initiated at the May 1, 1871 railway line Munich - Mühldorf - Simbach was built on the beginning of double track line from Munich's main train station to Ostbahnhof an initially designated as Thalkirchen intermediate station, which bears the name München Süd since 1876.
