Münchner Tor

The Münchner Tor is an office skyscraper in the Munich Re ( Munich Reinsurance Company AG in Munich). The development of the project was carried out by the subsidiary MEAG Real Estate Management GmbH.

The building was inaugurated after about two years of construction in July 2003. The Münchner Tor was built according to the plans of the architecture firm of Allmann Sattler Steelers (ASW ). It consists of a low-rise building and an attached office tower. The latter has two basement levels, a ground, and a gallery floor and twenty-one floors above ground and reaches a height of 85 m ( 88 m with superstructures ). The flat also has two basement floors and six upper floors ( with roof-mounted ). Total work in two buildings approx 1200 employees.

The name Münchner Tor was chosen as the building with the opposite Highlight Towers a goal for the middle ring forms, which runs between the high-rise buildings.
