The international airport of Flores - Santa Elena " Mundo Maya " ( Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional Mundo Maya, Flores ) is an international airport at Flores in northern Guatemala. It is located in the center of the department of Petén, a few kilometers east of Flores in Santa Elena. The airport owes its importance mainly to the tourist attraction Tikal. In addition to domestic flights, there are connections to Belize, Mexico and the United States. It is used for military purposes.
