Muriel Gustavo Becker

Muriel Gustavo Becker named Muriel (born 14 February 1987 in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil ) is a Brazilian football goalkeeper.

Career

Association

Muriel played in his youth in the youth teams of the Brazilian first division club Internacional Porto Alegre before he coached from 2007 with the first team. However, he was only just Auswechseltorwart. In 2009, he was therefore each half a year on loan to SER Caxias do Sul in the Série C Associação Portuguesa de Desportos and in the Série B in order to gain match practice. He returned in early 2010 back to SC Internacional, but was still behind Auswechseltorwart Renan and Roberto Abbondanzieri. After Abbondanzieri ended his career in January 2011, Muriel could even displace Renan as a goalkeeper and has since regular keeper.

National

Muriel was nominated between 2006 and 2007 over and over again for the U-20 national youth team and played three games. He qualified with the selection for the U-20 World Cup Canada 2007, where, however, in the second round failed after extra time against Spain.
