Murroe

Murroe (Irish Maigh Rua ) is a small village in County Limerick in Ireland.

In Murroe, about 600 inhabitants. The village was founded by the Barrington family who lived in the nearby castle " Glenstal Abbey " from 1830. Since 1926 it houses a Benedictine monastery and a boarding school.

In the immediate vicinity of Murroe are the " Slieve Felim mountains".
