Museum of Broadcast Communications

The Museum of Broadcast Communications ( MBC) in Chicago is a museum of radio and television history. It houses the Radio Hall of Fame of the United States.

The museum opened in 1987 in Chicago's South Loop and was from 1992 to 2003 at the Chicago Cultural Center. The reopening in Chicago Loop, which was originally planned for the year 2005, will make the museum an area of ​​about 7000 m². The move should be completed in late 2009.

According to the website the MBC in 2003 was on the fourteenth place of the most visited cultural institutions in Chicago with more than 200,000 visitors.
