Mushroom Rock State Park

The Mushroom Rock State Park is a small state park in Ellsworth County, Kansas, United States.

It is located in the Smoky Hills and has a special feature several mushroom rocks. The mushroom rock in only about 2.4 acre park consist of Dakota sandstone, which is eroded slower than it originally surrounding rock. In the north of the park is the old Fremont Trail.

1965, the park was opened, the equipment is limited to a few picnic opportunities. The administration runs on the nearby Kanopolis State Park.
