Mustafa Akçay

Mustafa Akçay ( born September 20, 1983 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish football player.

Career

In his youth Akçay played for TSV Bernhausen to 1993 Stuttgarter Kickers were attentive to him and he finally aufrückte there after several youth teams in the squad of the second team. A season later, the midfielder could distinguish in the first team squad and completed a total of 121 games for the Blues in the Regionalliga Süd. After he was able to keep the class with the Kickers, Akçay tried his luck at first division club Antalyaspor in Turkey, but was followed by only one season, a change to a class lower club Adanaspor. In 2011 he returned to Germany and played at the district division Tunaspor Echterdingen, before he returned to his home club for which he is currently active.
