My American Heart

My American Heart was an American alternative, emo and indie rock band from San Diego, California. The name " My American Heart" is an allusion to the Philippine roots of the band.

History

The band was founded in 2002 in San Diego under the name of No Way Out. 2004, they released their first single This Will not Stop, before they change their name to My American Heart, 2005. According to the " Taste of Chaos " tour Clint Delgado left the band because he wanted to concentrate on his education.

After the tour, the band released their debut album The Meaning in Makeup, previously they had already released an EP.

During their Warped Tour in the fall of 2005, they took Dustin Hook in the band as a bass player, so that Jesse Barrera Clint Delgado could replace the guitar.

During the summer of 2006 Jeremy Mendez left the band for the recording of their second album Hiding Inside the Horrible Weather dedicated to the guitarist Matt Van Gasbeck of downtown Singapore.

After the Soundwave Festival in Australia drummer Steven Oira left the band as a replacement brought you Jake calf ex- TheFold. 2008 is then picked up as a solid replacement for the 2006 migrated Jeremy Mendez Nick Logan.

A year later gave songwriter and composer Jesse Barrera announced that he is leaving the band to pursue his solo career. As a result, was later also the band their full resolution known.

In fall 2009, My American Heart launched their last tour of some cities in the U.S., also they released four demo songs.
