My Secret Life (Eric Burdon album)

My Secret Life (English for My Secret Life ) is a studio album by the British rock singer Eric Burdon, which was published in 2004. Included is the single ' Once Upon a Time. " The album was a commercial failure and placed only in the German album charts.

Background

When after 16 years, the work was completed on a studio album that had 12 tracks for the first time the record was released in 2004 as his " comeback album ". Shortly before the release Burdon sounded in the middle of the night an album by Leonard Cohen on which the song "In My Secret Life " was included. He ran back into the studio and decided to bring a 13th title on the plate. In addition, the 13 tracks are different for the first time enormously from Burdon 's previous rock / hard rock music, so there are traditional rock ballads such as " Factory Girl ", Blue titles such as "Once upon a time" but " jazzy " songs such as "Heaven" or Leonard Cohen's " In my Secret Life ".
