Myalgia

Myalgia (Greek μυαλγία, muscle pain ' of μυς mys, muscle ' and άλγος algos, pain ') is the medical term for muscle pain.

For muscle pain after exertion is called muscle soreness.

Myalgia often occur as a symptom of a variety of diseases. A typical symptom they are many kinds of infection, for example,

A common cause of myalgia in general practice are stress states and stress factors at work and in sports practice.
