Myechyslaw Hryb

Metschyslau Ivanavich Hryb ( born September 28, 1938 in Sawitscha in the district of Hrodna ) in 1994 was president of Belarus.

Hryb was first fire department engineer, in 1967, he completed his law studies at the University of Minsk from. As vice chairman of the Party " Narodnaya Hramada " he was from 1994 to 1995 a member of the Belarusian parliament and its chairman. After the fall of President Stanislav Schuschkjewitsch he was appointed on 28 January 1994 as President and remained so until the inauguration of Alexander Lukashenko on 20 July 1994.
